Ever since commercials companies prey on insecurities to sell their products.

It's actually been getting less since reality tv became a thing and more 'real' people were shown on tv. Yet commercials with natural looking people are still extremely rare. The only 'change' is that men have become just as much a target as women always were with body image shaming to get you to buy beauty products (and silly filters)

Anyway, just ignore Twitter. Better for your health to steer clear of that.

There's nothing wrong with your nose. The best lesson in life is to stop worrying about what other people might think of you. Hint, most people are so self absorbed they don't give anyone else a second thought anyway.

Your own mind is your worst enemy. I have been bullied during my school years and it took to late in my thirties to shake that feeling that every time I heard laughter, my mind assumed people were laughing at me. Still crossing to the other side of the street when I saw a group of teenagers coming from the other direction. My 'abnormality' was naturally greasy hair and eczema when growing up. Nothing bad but enough to become a target for being 'different'.

You need to get out of that mindset which will build self confidence over time. Plus I don't have much hair left on my head so that 'problem' solved itself :p

Humans are such hypocrites. Striving for individuality while at the same time railing against anyone that doesn't conform to standard ideals while trying to 'fit in'. Be proud and confident in who you are. In the end, self confidence is what is attractive in the long run, not perceived beauty.

For starters, some people put filters on because people call them ugly! Like you just did. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, if so, feel free to explain more clearly what you mean.
What sites are you going on where everyone uses filters??

Agree the world has become so toxic and superficial that sadly people resort to hiding. 

Miss the good old days when no one cared, lived outside, no one spend 20 hours online looking to attack people.

If he thinks these are bad should watch some of the make up transformation videos. You wouldn't even know they the same person if you didn't see them put on the makeup. Some people are literally painting a new face on themselves, which is sad they feel they need to. May as well use canvas and paint and could become the next Mona Lisa in a museum.
