Titan Quest didn't sell because it was a mediocre Diablo 2 clone. Not because of piracy. Most people didn't even know it existed.

I wasn't taking a personal stance on Titan Quest's quality, I was referring to this topic:

Well, Titan Quest did sell ok but not the expansion, and Dawn of War: Soulstorm is selling great. The problem is even if they had put an efficient anti-piracy protection that would make the game unpirated (in dreamland), the sales would barely be increased since TQ isn't a big game, and pirates would just rather look for other games to download illegally than buy TQ.
