Poland, Nordics and Baltics To Step Up Aid To Ukraine

Poland, Nordic and Baltic states said on Wednesday they would in the coming months step up support for Ukraine, including to the country’s defense industry, and invest in making more ammunition available.

“We are committed to strengthening our deterrence, and defense, including resilience, against conventional as well as hybrid attacks, and to expanding sanctions against Russia as well as against those who enable Russia's aggression,” the leaders of Poland, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway and Sweden said in a statement.

“We share the same assessment of the security situation, including concerns about critical infrastructure and strategic resources along the Baltic Sea. We need new tools and ambitious means to counter threats,” Tusk said, adding that Poland’s response is a proposal to create a ‘navy policing’ mission in the Baltic Sea. Tusk said that his Baltic and Nordic counterparts found the proposal interesting and would continue to hone out the details.

Europe needs to take a greater responsibility for its own security,” Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said in a separate statement. “That is preconditioned on us increasing our cooperation and continuing to support Ukraine, which is fighting for both its own and our security, over the long term.”

White House Urges Ukraine to Draft 18-Year-Olds to Increase Size of Military | AP News

Sorry, but lowering the draft age to 18 for the sake of getting more manpower while partners still spend months and years weighing the risks of escalation with every single weapon and equipment type that Ukraine begs for does not seem to look like a good long-term strategy.

Bit annoying to see the Russian ruble utterly fucking collapse because of America's latest sanctions that should have been done months ago, feels like Biden is just speed running a bunch of stuff (lifting missile restrictions, mine restrictions, sanctioning the bank, etc.) he should have done a year ago, it's nice to see it finally happen but it should have happened sooner and it's also likely only temporary once Trump gets into power.

A Russian Recruit Has A One-Month Life Expectancy After Signing Up For The War In Ukraine
Russian dead and wounded may exceed 730,000—and point toward a Ukrainian strategy for victory.

(Edit: And Forbes is a very respected financial magazine. It's a bit behind The Economist, and the WSJ, but ahead of all the rest. If they print anything, i'll believe it.)

Happy thanksgiving russia, you've recieved a new record in your people's demise.  Please give up soon for your own good

Well...The situation in Syria appears to be escalating since Russia pulled forces back to Ukraine...Syrian Rebels launched a surprise attack on Aleppo.

Well shit, Syrian Rebels inside Aleppo. Tulsi Gabbard must be crying right now, her hero Assad is struggling. Don't worry Putin and Assad, a few months and Tulsi Gabbard will be coming to your rescue! Tulsi will be demanding Trump bombs some children to help Assad out.

Heh, I actually hate her, I think she is straight up a Russian puppet who idolises Assad because she's a sick fuck, I hope she doesn't get Senate or House confirmation because she's fucking compromised to hell and back, straight up I don't want UK sharing any intelligence with America if Tulsi Gabbard is getting her hands on it.

Thousands protesting in Georgia against the government's decision to suspend accession talks with the European Union "until the end of 2028". Aleppo being attacked by Syrian Rebels which seems like a well coordinated assault at an opportune moment. Fuck sake it's all falling apart for Putin and Trump is right around the corner to bail him out.

Lob another Storm Shadow at Russia for good measure.
