Russian oil trading at 86 dollars a barrel now, up from 81 dollars when I posted on this last week. Check that link for the graph. They will be at 100 dollars per barrel very soon, mark my words.

It's working.

Also funny considering...

In November 2022, political analyst Dmitry Drobnitsky appeared on top propagandist Vladimir Solovyov's television show and said that Kazakhstan could pose a threat to Russia. "Let's note that the next problem [after Ukraine] is Kazakhstan because the same Nazi processes that were happening in Ukraine could begin there," Drobnitsky said.

Don't do it Kazakhstan, Russia will pretend to be your ally now but not in the future.

These posts about the oil situation seem to contradict each other.

These posts shouldn't contradict themselves at all. One features expected supply decreasing resulting in a higher trading price oil oil. The other post refees to russian diplomacy for a potential emergency oip reserve in case tge ujranians campaign of destroying russia's oil production completely shuts things off.  Both are evidence that this is working and im just fine with that

Crude vs Refined.

Russia is exporting crude oil still, Ukraine is blowing up the refineries which turn crude oil into refined oils like gasoline, Russia needs a lot of that refined oil for domestic usage, so they will have to buy gasoline from Kazakhstan as their capability to turn crude oil into refined oils decreases, in the future, they will have to sell more of their crude oil if they can't refine it or just have it sit there.

Russia said it would cut crude exports during the first quarter of 2024 by 300,000 barrels a day from their average May-June level as part of a wider OPEC+ initiative to avert a surplus and support oil prices. Seaborne shipments in the first three months of the year exceeded that level by just 16,000 barrels a day.

My bad. Thanks for clarifying.

Lithuanian leaders hailed a “historic event” as Germany on Monday began deploying troops in the Baltic country — a NATO member — marking the first time since World War II that German forces will be based outside the country on a long-term basis.

The German army, the Bundeswehr, has taken part in long-term operations abroad since the 1990s, first in the Balkans and then in combat operations in Afghanistan. At the moment, the Bundeswehr says German soldiers are deployed in Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as in the Mediterranean.

However, this is the first permanent standalone German deployment, not on rotation as part of a multinational force.

Nah this is a bad idea. Isreal already doing that and most the targets are innocent humans.

Plus we are training AI to attack humans as being an OK thing to do.
