She found my profile on this site, too. I guess that's what happens when you use the same username for every site. Now I have to be a respectable citizen, kind sir.

Can we just talk about how this game is rather embarrassing as an upgrade overall?

These consoles have 32 times the amount of RAM with 20 times the bandwidth as the 360 and PS3. The CPU's are vastly more powerful, and the GPU's are probably 50x as powerful as the consoles they originally came on....and they still aren't a locked 60FPS. Just...wow.

That's bethesda for you.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Ya'll care about a 2 second difference, but I'm just sitting here, scoping out Deeja mods over on Nexus (best girl and I'll fight anyone).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Who made this remake game?
Is it outsourced?

The difference in load time is important. Please don't tell me it isn't.

IMO, two seconds is hardly important. Not saying that it doesn't matter at all, but if I was looking at buying Skyrim for PS5 or Series X a two second difference in loading would be the most negligible pro on the PS5 list and would matter less than how comfortable I think the controller is TBH.

Are you saying that the PS5 controller is the best?

Do either of these allow mods?

Not sure if I watched the same video as everyone else?

But the Series X version is the best way to play the game outside of PC.
Why?

Framerates and Framepacing. The Series X version is solid due to dynamic resolution scaling.
It does mean the game can sometimes look softer on Series X as a compromise, but keep in mind it's an Xbox 360 game, the higher resolution doesn't really do the low-quality blurry assets any justice anyway.

No one cares about 4 vs 2 second load times. It's inconsequential.

fun fact which is left out by OP for obvious reasons the series version is just the BC version with FPS boost

What does that have to do with game performance? Both are $50.

This game is not playable on Gamepass.

This is a new title that will be sold for $50.

No, the next-gen version of Skyrim is free for special edition owners and is free on gamepass.

The only thing you have to pay for is some DLC (Creation club content). The next-gen performance is free.

$50 to get Anniversary if you don't own Skyrim Special Edition
$20 to upgrade to Anniversary if you own Skyrim Special Edition.

Next-Gen upgrade for Skyrim Special Edition completely free.

Hmm, what did I say that was wrong? If so, I'm sorry.

But you can't play this game with Game Pass, can you? And it went on sale on November 11 for $50. Are you assuming that every gamer who buys the Anniversary Edition already owns Skyrim?
