The difference in load time is important. Please don't tell me it isn't.

No one is going to say "I enjoyed this game more because it loaded in 2 seconds instead of 4 seconds."

It is undeniably better on ps5, but to gamers playing games? Who gives a damn.

4 second loading times Vs 2 seconds isn't going to impact my choice for where to play it in the slightest.

It's just that few people bother to complain about it in words. But a two-second difference that occurs repeatedly throughout the game is a big deal. "I don't care"  just because people who don't play on different consoles don't notice, but if you play both, you will.

Over the past year specific titles have gone back and forth over which sku was superior and even then it wasn't that much of a difference. The big talk at that time was how the Series X was going to be the king of multiplats and now tallying up the DF comparisons over the last year PS5 comes out with a slight advantage more often than not. DF comparisons are rarely posted now likely for this reason. It's a narrative that can no longer be spun by the usual suspects. Nonetheless, it's still nice to see and remind people such as Albert Penello, Tom Warren and quite a few others that they were wrong. :)

Yep, the people touting the most powerful console have rightly been silenced. The difference is negligible, it's not like the PS4 Vs XBO the gap is a lot smaller and even that gap last gen wasn't that big.

The 12TF machine isn't performing best in all 3rd parties like many expected before. It really doesn't matter which system you play on.

Don't forget the users on this site and on forums like ResetEra parroting these same talking points lol. Its insane how many people wanted to believe PS5 was RDNA 1.5 even when AMD made an official announcement about it.

Still too long on both platforms. Will wait for another re-re-re-re-release with no loading times.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Elder Scrolls VI load times on series X are 10 seconds vs the PS5 is, "still waiting".

^^^^ thats about how ridiculous this thread is

I didn't know this comparison was about TES6.

The fact that the Bethesda's RPG isn't the most comfortable to play on the Xbox is news in and of itself.
Someone should tell the MS sales team in 2020.

Having just watched the full video I don’t think I agree. The Xbox version of the game features new dynamic resolution solution that has never been in a Bethesda RPG before, while the PlayStation version is just left to allow frame drops and screen tearing.

The game is subsequently performing better on the Xboxes and the thing I find actually surprising is that they even took the time to add such a feature given that this is a 10+ year old re-re-rerelease.

From a third party games standpoint I think the Xbox would have needed to be significantly more powerful than it is for a consistent performance advantage to be noticeable, and I think the main reason is that the PlayStation is very clearly the lead development platform like the PS4 was for 8th gen and the 360 was for 7th gen. The extra time, polish, and effort that PS versions of all the third party games get really helps the console punch above its weight class.

Like most comparisons between PS5 and XSX versions of games, the difference is small and it really doesn't matter.

We are talking 5 seconds or less on both according to your post.  No that isn't important outside of being able to say one version is "superior" to the other.
