Yeah, take that PS3 and 360.  Sega beat ya to it YEARS ago!!  Although I joke, they actually did, seeing as how with the VGA cable for the dreamcast you could get PC quality resolutions. Something very few Xbox games even managed that generation.

But anyway, I had to hook the ole effer up.  I'm feeling the heavy need to hack some in Shadowrun. It's funny how crappy Genesis graphics look on a big HDTV. I don't care a good game is a good game.  Now how about that VC/Xbox Live Arcade port to make up for turning it into a first person shooter?

Um it's not about the resolutions. See pcs that are around 15 yrs old could do these resolutions, but not at without losing out on other things. It has been like that until recently where HD resolutions are being tooken advantage of to make the graphics look better.

On the 64 it said, the best graphics you can get.

CaptainPrefrences, you mean about the VGA cable? Yep. I still have mine, cause I couldn't trade it in when I got rid of my dreamcast. It was awesome, not all games worked but 95 percent of them did, and playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica at 1280x1024 was drool worthy for the time. Don't quote me on the exact resolution though but it seemed that sharp.

 I hearddreamcast graphics were good, its a shame ive never seen a dreamcast in action for myself.

Can you still play dreamcast games online?

Are you talking about the n64? If so  I think they meant for the 5th gen. In the 5th gen the n64s graphics>>>ps1>>Saturn. 

sc94597, but that's the thing, the games looked the same graphically at either resolution. Nothing was suffered, frame rate didn't drop with the cable. But I see what you are saying I think, the standard graphics could have been that much better if they weren't rendering at a constant higher resolution... which is what I think the DC did.

But I'm speaking from experience, those games on DC looked tons better at PC resolutions than they did on a TV.
