In general, yup, pot kicks ass. I agree with you; large party, lots of people I'll drink. Smaller gathering...pot all the way. It's more social, it's more relaxed, and it generally makes most things more enjoyable. Movies, going outside, music, all of these things are awesome high.
Also, eating a meal high is the greatest thing in the world.
