Have you heard of a narrative roguelike? That's pretty much what you're in for, and the permanent upgrade is your knowledge you gather through haunting detective work!
For the record, I really do appreciate those of you who give me a chance and watch my videos or take the time to reply/comment. It's been a rough journey in gaming, and I've come to appreciate the people who have an open mind and the positivity to tell themselves, "hmm, okay, I'll watch this".
