Also, find it strange that EA, Bioware and what not get slaughtered for bad releases, this one gets a free pass.

I think CP2077 is a proper next gen game which is why it's struggling so hard on last gen consoles. Personally they shouldn't have even bothered releasing it on ps4/x1 and just made it next gen exclusive but alas. Witcher 3 launch also had a number of issues which CD fixed in time so I am sure they will do the same here.

So far I am blown away playing it on my 3080 with RT set to Ultra. The visuals are eyegasm worthy at max settings even if the frame rate isn't hitting 60fps at all times. (I am mainly getting 53-60fps on my 3080 in the city at 3440 x 1440p with DLSS set to Quality. Sometimes 70+ depending on the area.)

8 million pre-orders sold, 4.72m copies on PC, that leaves 3.28 million console copies sold. That's a lot of people to disappoint. Granted some will have access to a Series X or PS5 to play it a better frame rate, still looks pretty blurry with the same bugs.

The PC version has its problems as well, recommended GTX 1060, yeah right!

I understand now why CD Project chose to push the PC version for early reviews. The PS4 version performance is so bad it is almost unbelievable CD Projekt actually released it as the way it is. I'm not sure if DF testing is after or before the first day patch.

There were tons of pre-orders, what did people expect to happen? Cannot have cancellations can we? Money, money, money, just another scummy corporation. CDproject, for the players.

Yeah, it does run pretty poorly on 8th gen consoles and there really is no excuse. It's been in development for 8 years and they would have been the original targeted spec.

My brother is playing it on Base VCR X1 and is really enjoying it so far though. He didn't pay for it, he got it through game sharing, bought it digital on Series X.
