Forums - Gaming - If X360 uses SD DVD then how is it HD?

dvd9 is just a storage of about 8gb, the more detail they put into the movies or games the more space it will take up. thats why blu ray is needed that way it can be long and very detailed. we cant do that with dvd.

360 is hd because it can be upgraded to run on hdtv's. however 360 can run on sdtv's too.

well so can ps3 bcos i had a SD TV and it worked, the ps3 runs in full HD and the lowest SD

Rock you have no clue. 360 was launched as HD console. It was never upgraded. There was a Patch that was sent out to do 1080p. But it was always able to do 720p. Also Dogweed, So far there is no evidence of your claim in any games. And if we needed 2 discs towards the end of 360's life for alot of games BIG DEAL. MS are very good at compression though.

what is wrong with getting up and change the disc like very 10hrs of gameplay????

There's a middle ground between not being able to get up, and being a fitness instructor (though, according to our Government, not much of one).
