I'm on a 7 days leave due to serving to Cyprus; after that, I won't be able to play for 2 months :(
I think I raced quite well today, I haven't played MK for weeks and haven't slept for 30 hours due to traveling yet I competed with you guys (you all are serious competition). I was a bit unlucky though, as in the first GP a blue shell ruined my every race in the 3rd lap effectively dropping me from at least 1st place. Anyways, had a real good time though, and that's what really matters (you and Tuoyo have gotten really great BTW).
If you want to make the jump 3 times, you have to be lucky as well but the secret is the exact point where I stop. Watch my replay a couple of times and remember the point exactly where I completely halt; One step away and you will end up in the lava. Keep trying though; I think you can make it ;)

Bad luck affects everyone (except rolf the crafty bugger). In those 3 GPs twice I had only just moved into 1st when a blue shell came. And on coconut mall I was messed up from the beginning, I think tuoyo red shelled me before the first corner, which would have been fine except I was hit by a rogue green shell a bit later, and then "bones" got me 3 times with a starman when I passed him.
I think overall I raced quite well though, with the exception of Delfino Square, I made a few mistakes on that track (though I still won, what were you lot doing?) I hit the wall 3 times and one of the stray boxes once I think.
yeah some nice races not my favourite levels but ok^^

Why is the turn out so bad nowadays? When we first started I think there used to be about 8-10 racers. Now it's hardly ever more than 4. I think I might concentrate on the American League now even though it means staying up till 2am. There seem to be many more regular participants.

Someone rally around for Chrizum, Komodo, NJ5, lex luthor, and others, it's not as exciting racing only 3 people.
