Nice to see this franchise back, my favorite fighting franchise next to Soul Calibur. But the esport focus worries me. Tekken 7 was such a shitty product for this very reason.
It just seems like an excuse for developers to be lazy.
Just focus on making a good game instead of a good sport.

Yes!!! Big news, for sure!

I'm happy to finally hear of a new Virtua Fighter game, however, it's not my series. I really wanted to love the series as I prefer grounded and realistic real martial arts styles and among the 3d AA(A) fighting games it's the only one that fulfill that requirement but I couldn't. For casual players the series is just too flat, too technical, too less motivating. I know that the fighting games in general have very cheesy stories but Virtua Fighter 5 Revolution simple had none at all! You play through the arcade mode and when you defeat the last opponent, you see the credits and that's it! That killed the game right away for me and I never touched it ever again - no reason to play anymore!
