Frankly I'd ditch the user reviews entirely or go with a proof of purchase kind of situation like Amazon or RottenTomatoes. As they stand, they are completely useless.

I don't think they should ditch user reviews as they are important for the average Joe to post their own take on things. However like you said a verification is much better way going about it since it will have a lot more legitimate reviews, rather than bots.

I usually ignore user reviews on sites like MC because of trolls and bots. For movie websites like IMDB though, I find that user reviews can be a lot more accurate, especially those positive ones and critical ones that are up voted over professional critic reviews. It would be nice if MC had something like that and have verified reviews.

It discusses the disconnect between critics and viewers. And also how some reviewers will simply say dumb shit about anyone that criticizes their review.

Called it. Can’t believe I got the prediction!

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I still see red reviews coming through when I order by date, where exactly did the news come from that MC were blocking negative reviews? But yeah, MC is already biased.

In the video i posted above, it shows people leaving negative scores and MC blocks the score, and the same person posts a good review and it was accounted for.

My guess is MC will block any scores that are in the Red and allow only the Green and maybe Yellow scores.

Its pretty manipulative for a site to do these things just to make a game look better in a score. If what is shown and being said true.

User review on PSN dropped to 4 stars with 12500 reviews. The Deluxe version is 4.5 with 4350 reviews.

There are alos bots doing 10's, if you take note of there user names you can see the similarities and slight changes and also the obvious numbers accounts like Name123567 and name123456789. Jesus, this game has made people into fools.

And the ""gaming journalists"" that criticisized the low score review bombing will not say anything about this. This whole fucking thing is a circus.
