Forums - Gaming - Games I cant wait for.

I been biding my time waiting for the right time to pounce on a PS3.

Heres my list of PS3 games I really want to get my hands on in order.

1. LBP

2. Valkyria Chronicles

3. MGS4

4. FF 13

5. White Knight Chroncles

From what I gather 4 of those are out this year, is that right? And if anyone really Sony orientated could tell me if there is a price drop gonna happen again this year? Cause I'm gonna need to buy one before these hit shelves. Cheers guys.

PS just realised I put this in Gaming instead of Sony. Anyways carry on with your help and thoughts of the games. Cheers.

You forgot Kill Zone 2 and Resistance 2. So selnor has finally woken up and realises the power of the PS3.

add to that and some multiplatform games.

Red Faction 3
Fallout 3
Wet

ohh u forgot FFvs13

I like technology when its moving forward..

PSN: methys

Street Fighter IV is coming!

and I'm curious about The Last Remant.

''Hadouken!''

The best exclusives are on the PS3: R2, KZ2, MGS 4, LBP, Haze, Socom:Confrontation, FFXIII, GT 5.
Now all we need is for starcraft to join the PS3 bandwagon.

He has a 360, so I don't think he's too worried about multiplats. :P

@Selnor: As far as we know there are no price drops in the works, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see one around the holidays.

As far as release dates go, MGS4 hits June 12, as you probably already know, Valkyria Chronicles should be hitting the US/EU around August or September, LBP is hitting in September, and WKC really depends on whether Sony localizes the game in a decent amount of time.

Looking at Level 5's ps2 offerings, Dark Cloud 1/2 were localized within 6 months to a year, but Rogue Galaxy took much longer (1 year for the US, almost two years for the EU). However, given the ps3's current situation I could see Sony rushing the localization of WKC.

An upcoming Famitsu is supposed to have a bunch of info on WKC similar to the tri-Ace blowout they recently had.  Actually, it was mentioned in the same issue as the tri-Ace articles, so we should be getting that soon.  Hopefully we'll get more news on a release date then.

I hope the localization of WKC is not rushed to ensure quality.  The only reason RG took  a 1 year to be localized was because they were not satisfied with the original Japanese release of the game and added new content

Cant wait for the Famistu then.:) Yeah I know about FFvs 13, but I'll probably rent first. Purely because FFX 2 ruined what I did enjoy of X. If thee is no price drop then I'll definately have to get anyway before June 12.  @ Rock_on_2008. Ive never hated Sony or the PS3 I've just been waiting for the exclusives I wanted. I'm not a fan of any company as my shift in consoles through generations certainly tells. I just get certain consoles first. As far as Multiplats are concerned. It will be what ever version plays better.(Although Achievements is a factor, as it's one of my Favourite ideas this gen)

I'm in Australia (which Sony will treat in a similar way to the UK as we are both PAL). I'm about 101% sure there will be a PS3 price drop around the holidays of this year. I want a PS3 pretty much just for FFXIII Versus (once I have one I'll go back and play some of it's exclusives, I just wouldn't buy a console for any of them).

I would wait until early 2009. It will be a period when there will be a slowdown of games for all consoles. Do what I'm doing and buy a PS3 then then rent some of it's back-catalog.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Actually now I think about it, I'm also interested in WKS. At one point I thought the combat was looking a bit stale, but I'm getting into it again.
