Forums - Sony Discussion - Naughty Dog hiring programmers with Nvidia GPU and PC experience for TLOU 2

As someone at resetera already pointed out, this could be about the standalone multiplayer that will come out later.

Around the Network

seems a lot like a nothingburger that's been reheated (1y old listing) due to recent rumors

it's just a general job experience description - they are not going to reject ppl that only worked on PC/Nvidia architecture even if they are hired for positions where they'll dev for console/AMD arch

Would definitely be cool for standalone online multiplayer.

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

...and so it begins.

Yes since TLOU 2 won't have multiplayer. (I think it's a good thing).

The Last Of Us Part. II Impact will be like that. I agree.

I can't wait to in April what Final Fantasy VII Remake will do to PS4. But that's another question.

Watch TLOU suddenly lose "game of the decade" status if it comes out on the PC.

or maybe a handheld close zu switch.

Finally stop saying that current consoles are like PCs just because there is an X86 chip built in. A Gamecube or an Xbox360 and PS3 were not Mac's just because there was an IBM chip in them.

The important part is knowledge of modern gpu architecture and api's. the list's are just a point of reference.
