I'm actually going to do just this. Not because Manuelf said so, but because I've never been huge on the GT series, and I'd rather spend the extra $20 for the full game. No offence to the Prologue, which I'm sure is excellent, but I'll hold out until the full game is here.

got my preorder today, no real reason to preorder besides i was at gamestop earlier today. why are people holding out? prologue itself is probably going to be a game in itself, im thinking of it as like GT4.5! i do hope the full 5 comes out soon though.

I merely stated what I planned on doing, and that it just happened to be somewhat like what Manuelf suggested. Therefore, I quoted that statement because I somewhat agree. I don't think people had "better wait" for the full game, but I happen to be waiting for the full game.

Toys 'R' us appears to be selling the game at full price according to their flyer's. The good thing is not many PS3 owners shop at TRU.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the end, GT5p = GT5. They already stated that GT5p will get car damage, and the Japan version was updated to match the tracks and features that the UK version had.

GT5p in a year will be a lot more then it is today. I could see a $20 DL that brought it up to GT5, unless of course it turns into a 30 gig DL or something. 

GT5 will be approx. 10x the size of GT5:P, so i don't think theres going to be a DL.

 Even if that is the case, I'll live. Like I said, I'm not huge on the GT franchise, but I like it enough to be interested in the full game. So, I'm happy waiting. =)

gt5 wont be out until 09, by then ur $40 spent will mean nothing.
buy the game, polyphony digital perfects them, its well worth it.
