I think of rednecks.

I can't say I have any desire to visit Texas. ever.

Sadly, there are some pretty redneck-ish places in Texas.

I grew up on a farm in a small country town called Whitesboro. It had a single stoplight, a Dairy Queen, gravel roads, I went to school one morning and the pickup next to me had a dead dear in it, and the guy who worked for my dad was actually named Bubba whose dad was named Cotton and his kid was named Colt. Oh, and they still had a chapter or whatever of the KKK there.

If you've ever seen Varsity Blues it's pretty much that town but instead of a really good football team that everyone worshipped, it was a really bad team that everyone worshipped. We held three records: most points scored against them in a single season, most yards lost in a single season, and longest losing streak (10 years I believe).

Yeah, I'm glad to be gone from that place.

Texas to me is like Alberta in Canada, from what I have gatherd from movies. Its dry, everything around always looks dead ( Trees, grass, wildlife ) Everyone in both places on average are just plain stupid ( Not that I claim to be smart ). People that live in these 2 places drive very large trucks that they have no use for. They both know how to make some of the best slow cooked meats out there.

All and all am pretty sure Montana would be something more to my liking, but I have never left Canadian soil so I don't know for sure.

British Columbia > Alberta

What ever is like B.C in the States > Texas

Then again am a fan of back yard football not T.V football. I prefer a well cooked Salmon to a well cooked Cow. I hate people who own SUVs or large veichles and live in a city. I dislike Oil companies. Truth be told I just truly hate Alberta, and if Texas is like Alberta I hate it also.. All of this hate is in the spirit of compatition that British Columbia is like the best damn pace to live on earth.

P.s Hockey is better then Football... Oh ya I went there >.>

It's easy to stereotype when I can't think of a single good thing that came out of Texas.

The Alamo?

Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin?

Even though I hate them, the Cowboys?

Debbie Does Dallas?

San Antonio?

Dallas?

Houston?

Austin?

If you've never been, it's better to keep your mouth shut; you could stereotype any place for that matter.

The Bush family may reside now in Texas, but they really originate from...

*GASP*

MASSACHUSETTS!!

Oh yeah, too many dumb bottle blonde broads from there.

Can't say anything you listed that is not a city interests me. As for the cities, any city anywhere has its perks. Boston and the smaller cities near here are satisfying enough for me.

hm... Well I'm partly right. Texas does have a 27% obesity rate.

But it's actually only the 10th fattest state in the U.S. with Mississippi taking the cake (accidental pun) at over 30% Obesity.

Yowza!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

@Stof

Someone posted a study in another thread which states that Mississippians have the lowest IQ of any state in the US and by sheer coincidence, 59.5% of them voted for Bush.
