Hmm, that's odd. There was just the interview last week with the Rock Band guy who said don't expect a price cut, and then he came up with all this bull to explain it. If it's true, then good for the Europeans (though it's still a tad high, but at least better than before).

Well I think EA will make far more profit off this game at the lower price point. At the end of the day, the current price would exclude so many people from the game that it would be difficult to raise any significant revenue.

I have a feeling it has something to do with low stock as well. Your stock factors into your price so maybe they think with the stock they have in the EU, that price would sell that much. No point putting a price where it would sell like hot cakes if you cant satisfy demand.

But then I look at the Wii and it kills my whole argument above.

If the price is cut I can't wait to see how EA spin it. Clearly their last price wasn't quite as rock bottom as they made it out to be :)

The people who were defending the price will totally lose face. I still find it incredible that some people don't even think about the excuses they were giving. Big packages? Check out a toys store and then tell me what you think about that one.

I like their pictures, lets hope that this is the case and the price is lowered a little bit.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the price so I think a price reduction would be pointless. People should just pay up if they really want to play the game like the rest of us do.

The will definatley make more profit if its cheaper, i've been so hyped about this game and i was certain i would get it when it came out. Then EA come out with that stupid price and i don't care about it anymore...but i do now if it gets cheaper!

I sorta doubt it, not after that pompous response they gave. Not unless they want to look really dumb.
