Forums - Gaming - $600 tax credit in may - How will it effect sales?

*sigh* my parents declared me as a dependent so I wont get that $600 even though I REALLY need it right about now. (I live on my own, but my dad did my taxes this year)

I'm sorry.  That sucks.  It gets better though.  Life really starts when you're 24.  Then it's instant independent status and the financial aid flows like wine.

It pisses me off even more that I made to much. I don't get one either.

If you're making $150K/yr, why worry about a tiny stimulus?

I am not making 150k a year, I am single, and making in the 80's. Thanks to the huge amount I pay in taxes, $600 is still kind of a big deal to me :p

I do realize however that I am going to get the same amount in the end, and in truth, i buy what I want, so it's not going to stimulate my spending.

yes, that response is quite irritating, isnt it? I mean its not like the taxes I pay are not hurting and I dont need to worry about money anymore...
