just wondering if konami has mentioned a future suikoden title

Around the Network

There were rumours about it being on the wii but thats it I believe.

They're probably taking a wait and see approach.

Great games, but Suikoden games aren't the biggest sellers so they've got to be real careful to find out which platform their base has migrated too.

A PS2/Wii port might oddly be the best option... to test how many of their fans migrated to Wii and how RPGs sell on it while still knowing that everyone who bought 3 and 4 can still get it on PS2.

An HD version would probably be too risky.

damn man :(
you got me excited

I thought the game was announced or something.. :P

Ditto.  I love the Suikoden games (2 was my favorite).

My heart skipped a beat when I read the title. >_>
I was really hoping for a blue line of text when I scanned the opening. T_T

Well a lot of people swear it's in development. I don't know if someone that works on the game mentioned it or not to make people so sure it's in the works.

Anyways, the only thing I heard about it were rumors. Rumors that it was supposed to be a PS2/Wii game but Nintendo stepped in to have it a Wii exclusive.

Suikoden 2 and 3 are the best. If Suikoden 6 goes to the Wii it won't be the end of the world. I am pretty happy having 1-5. That is about all the Suikoden I need for one lifetime.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I've only played Suikoden 3-5, and I thought 5 was the best of those. I actually bought 4 first, and liked it enough that I gave 3 chance (borrowed it from a friend), but there were too many things I didn't like about it but decided to give 5 a chance anyways, and am glad I did. :)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

2 is one of the best games ever made, so i'll be happy to see a next gen suikoden sometime in the future

I like technology when its moving forward..
