Forums - Microsoft - Peter moore: The ingredient to MS games division success?

Dont you know Peter Moore is an infiltrator in EA for MS? Lol.

Ho hum... Peter Moore had a special interest in Japan and oversaw the setup of Mistwalker and the Xbox Japan team. Out came great games, and I feel its tailing off a bit now, and MS must keep its interest in Japan for obvious reasons. Although I doubt Sakaguchi will ever favour the PS brand again, its not good that we haven't heard much from there in a while.

Secondly, Peter Moore was a great PR, and I don't think he would have allowed Bioware, Bungie to slip away, I think he is a pro at deal making, and would have persuaded those developers to stay on some deal. Who knows? Maybe the fact that MS wasn't going to finance his plans and follow his tough aggressive vision the reason he finally left. You can see now he is taking over so many reins in EA. Madden not on PC, Peter says so. EA Sports to be a sporting brand, Peter says so. EA follows.

If Peter Moore had stayed, I think Halo 4, Lost Odyssey 2 would be more real and Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2 more exclusive than it looks now. Not to mention a few surprise exclusives as well. Im really not sure what Don Mattrick is up to, and at the moment John Schnappert (Xbox Live chief, ex-Nintendo, ex-Madden) is having way more face time. I hope Don Mattrick is the silent but efficient kind, and will be able to pull a few strings in due time.

Would be neat to see MS use that Yahoo Buyout money and buy out EA...Put an end to EA swallowing up everyone and everything.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Look at year over year sales. The 360 still has positive momentum. Try not to believe the crap that a lot of the sony boys spew. Things are going well for the 360 imo.
