If Africans hadn't used so much slavery, then they probably wouldn't have sold their surplus slaves to Europeans, and there would be fewer black people in the Americas. zomg!

Are you kidding me? Al Gore's contribution to "Climate Change" is misrepresenting the science in order to get everyone into a panic ...
Realistically, if Al Gore was president nothing more (or less) would have been done to combat "Climate Change" but the media also wouldn't be as critical on the government for "doing nothing".

Seriously, i think these kind of things can't even be imaginated.
Imagine that world war 2 triggered (or prevented from be triggered) an event that could change everything, like killed some pacifist that would bring world peace (yeah of course), some diplomat that would bring peace into africa or some crazy bastard worse than hitler that would destroy the entire world. Or even killed some normal guy that would influence the life of someone else making this guy important.
