Forums - General - What is your opinion of snitches?

It depends on what we're talking about. I have a conscience. If, by not taking some sort of action, somebody is hurt, or suffers, it's my obligation to do something. If Joe Public is smoking marijuana in his house, and not trying to harm anyone, I would probably look the other way.

What allegance do I have to some guy who steals a car, rapes a girl, or robs a store? By doing nothing, I'm permitting the crime to take place. Every situation's different, but I don't blindly follow ANY code. I'm my own man.

Surely, as 5-0, you can't be seen to NOT do something?

I'd snitch. My friend was dealing and if I had an oppertunity to snitch I would. What makes him think since he is a complete failure (and trust me this guy was) that he could make easy money by an illegal activity. That's fucking me over. I do things the correct way and pay taxes and this guy is living off of peoples weaknesses. bullshit

If it doesn't involve me, no, if it does (like if i'm gonna die) yes.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

I think it seriously disbalances the game as a whole, not just on a Team to Team basis, but also on a Player to Player basis. The entire game gets put on the Seeker, and then all the other team members are just there to entertain the audience so they don't get bored watching the seekers essentially play competitive "where's waldo?"

Good point but remember the time when Ginny was seeker and caught the snitch when they were down by more than 150 so they still lost?  Plus in Book 3 Harry had to catch it when they were up by 60 I think it was so there is strategy to it and the other players aren't useless.

Not sure why everybody else is going off topic.....

It would depend on the "crime". Anything that could possibly cause harm to anyone should immediately be "snitched".

It usually depends... I almost never snitch but if someone's life is on the line or something, I feel like I wouldn't have a choice. It drives me nuts when people snitch with drug related issues. At the end they always tell you that you'll thank them for it later but it's such a load of bullshit. Rehab doesn't work unless the person going is willing for it to and to force someone to go is illogical. I smoke weed occasionally and fortunately in California it's becoming so socially acceptable that a cop will simply tell you to put the joint out. They used to tackle you. I'm seriously starting to ramble but I hate the D.A.R.E. program so much. In a sense they're like a terrorist group; scaring impressionable kids with their lies. Ok I'm done talking now...
