So, will it be a direct sequel? With the Roman Empire but in Greece instead of Egypt?

I hope its true. And when new generetaion of consoles launches i want an AC game set in Japan(well, everyone here wants that)
If this is true i wonder if it is a direct sequel to Origin were you play as Aya
Well, if thats true, I wont be happy.
Origins was a nice shake-up for the franchise. It was a completely different setting that had never been done before in an AC game.
Greece is too similar to Rome/Constantinople, two locations that have already been done.
I was hoping for something different like feudal Japan. Oh well.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
This is very good news. I've been hoping for an Assassin's Creed: Greece for a very long time. It's the perfect setting to really push the First Civilization plot points and move the story forward tremendously rather than stringing it along.
As for the main character I am hoping for a female protagonist being the daughter of Atlas. Elektra or if they really want to go tragic, Atlas's wife Pleione AKA the hidden one. Zeus plucked them into the sky. All of the seven sisters are named after birds and fits the themes of Assassin's Creed as well.
Thematically Greece is the perfect fit for Assassin's Creed far more than most of the recent entries have been. As for why it's taken so long for us to get a game set in Greece, perhaps it was planned to be used as at a later date with the First Civ and the Greek Gods. Something that is now being pushed a little harder. I'm curious to see where this goes. I have much higher expectations for this entry should this rumor be true.
Ancient Greece is all about Greece has going for it atm so it will be good to see.
I wouldn't mind seeing that at all, but I wouldn't mind seeing feudal Japan either.
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
