That wouldn't surprise me, they're soft as fuck on crims nowadays. Apart from not allowing PS3s due to the wireless.

Prisons are more about rehabilitation than retribution these days. And, tbh, I still wouldn't want to live in a prison. You're locked away for most of the day, you never see any of your friends, or family. You're pretty much deprieved of sex, and many luxurouies (I'm talking freedoms, not materialistic).
The worst part of being in prison, IMO, is when you are getting carted to somewhere. Perhaps to go do some
community work, or to a rehab centre, and you have this little window in the side of the van in which you can look
outside, and be reminded of exactly what it is to be free. Watching mothers performing the school run, the old man
taking his dog out to go pick up the paper, the children playing football against the "no ball games" sign on the wall.
