I guess we got the thread wrong. I thought it was best game overall, but it seems to be best game by platform. Why dont you make another thread then and get things sorted?

because it's a thread about "graphics showdown" not "best game". It's designed in a way that it's meant to talk about what games have the "best" graphics, but seemingly, each year it's slimmed down to just about one system and one or two multiplats by the end of said poll. It almost always feels like it's being geared towards a certain system each year, rather than giving all sorts of other games on other systems a very fair chance (bias withstanding of course).

You know anyone else like myself making said thread would be ignored on purpose and left to die within hours of posting it. My history of thread making only proves this all the more. Hence why I'd love to see the OP either make another thread for next year, that features more games on other platforms, PC included, or just making the next list a separated one for the two different platforms, that way it won't feel like it's being geared towards just one system each year (and also become less predictable and boring as a result of being different).

I get what you mean, But you cant complain when the OP gave everyone a choice and it lead towards one direction you dint like. All CGI is doing is asking posters what their top picks are and compiling them. Cant really blame CGI for that. Is this community's preference. 

I find it a tad disingenuous to say you can understand, but turn around to turn it into a "complaint". Each year it's always geared towards one specific group of gamers and hardly anyone else, do you think that's objectively fair to have that occur each year?.

The community stays the way it is because no one wants to leave their comfort zone, hence why hardly anything changes year in and out. It'd be nice to see a force of comfort zone change via next years poll, rather than a repeat of the previous 3 yearly polls. 

I say I get it because I preferred platform wich is Nintendo consoles will never win these kind of contest. But I get that they wont as Nintendo dosent emphasize graphics. Nintendo and xbox people wont be complaing here cuz they know theres nothing to shw this year. I know its a diferent for you as the point of PC is power and graphics so you might feel cheated. I dont blame you for feeling this way. Im one of the people who do believe Devs are getting lazier and lazier every year, so people like you cant take the most out of your rigs. Another factor might be that multyplats have become so copy and paste that gamers are getting tired. Being better looking but the same wont imprese people anymore. Changing things up like god of war did will imprese people more than its graphics jump.

I just feel like adding more to the polls would be a better solution, than simply adding a few exclusives and multiplats. Possibly making a two poll system for consoles and another for PC would better benefit future polls and groups.

God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Spiderman and/or Detroit Become Human beats "Battlefield 5" and all other pc-games this Year ;) That is sure, I played all the nominees :)

Its not the topic-problem, if some PC-Only players dont have a game that matches the impressive graphics of the aforementioned games. Little hint: go to a friend and play the other games on ps4-console, then you can see for yourself. The PlayStation 4 is the Graphic-King, currently. And Character models + animations are also much better (God of War and Detroit Become Human) than Battlefield 5 ; ) The big world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is also more impressive.

ps. Dragon Quest Xi and Ni No Kuni 2 looks wonderful too, but no chance vs. GoW & Detroit in my opinion.

To accuse CGI-Quality to be biased against PC is laughable.

And with the best mod, that will probably be a category dominated by PC unless MS or Sony decides to allow it on consoles (I don't think there is much point in going through the sanctioned mods that eventually becomes patches for console) and that is totally fine.

Since this hadn't had examples in the thread. Which would be the best mods of the year (and I think on this we can't limit the participation to the year the game launched but the year the mod launched) on your opinion, with perhaps some side by side.

Also would be cool to have another sub on the mod, which improved the game most.
