The last Mechwarrior game I played was Mercenaries (from the Mechwarrior 2: trilogy pack). It is the best PC game I've ever played, even though my computer wasn't fast enough to run it properly. When that computer died we got XP, which it wasn't compatible with, so I threw it out.

Six months ago we got Vista which I found out has complete backward compatibility modes and I've been crying over my lost game ever since.

Seconded. Maybe if they get their act together they can try a GOOD sequel to Perfect Dark with brunnette and Conker's Bad Fur Day :D

Vista compatabilty modes are not all ther cracked up to be. I had a lot of trouble getting fallout to run reliably. Mechwarrior 2 was the pinical. The most fun Ive have with the series online was with 2 and mercs 2 had a great single player campaign. My favorite structure for the game was the original Activison Mechwarrior 1.

I am a Battletech fan who started with the show not mech warrior so I am like a blasphemer to real die hard mechwarriors.  I liked Mechassault and Mechassault 2 I wish they would restart day one and make Mech assault three as a combination of 1 and 2's style with a new storyline.  1 would be good for kids a newbs 2 for experts who like strategy they just need to spawn us in bases so we don't ge spawn raped by the damn vtol.  Oh AAA would fix that.  note to self must by day one studios. 

 

I liked Mechassault and would play a new one on the 360. I never got around to playing Mechassault 2. My first Batteltech game was Cresent Hawks Inception on the C64 and I loved it. I actually played the Batteltech board game as well as the PnP Mechwarrior RPG. I think the only games I missed were the Cresent Hawks Revenge and Mechassault 2 and Mech Commander 2. I've never played a Mech game that I didnt like at least a little bit except possibly for Mech Commander.

Never I want halo wars 3 the covenant civil wars and halo wars 4 flood vs humans vs covenant vs heritics.

I want to see a new Mechassault but not a MMO. Just make one like the last few.
