How do you explain RR on PS1 looking so damn good for the time. In my opinion, it was a FAR superior game to Daytona USA.

The PS1 architecture was familiar to Namco since it was similar to their arcade games at the time. Also, there were four Ridge Racer games on the PS1 so they were able to improve and get better.
