i love ssbb great game i...i used to play melee in my cousins gamecube but i wanna play brawl with a gamecube controller...anyone know where i can get a cheap authentic nintendo one because it seems pretty hard to play with the wiimote...
i also really want some gamecube games such as both the metroids so i can get the third one for wii...
does anyone know any good rpgs on either the wii or gamecube besides zelda games...

The wii doesn't have too many rpgs yet. The gamecube has quite a few such as Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is ok. I didn't really use my gamecube for rpgs. The wii is getting a few later on this year , and next year. I would try looking at your local game store for a gamecube controller, or just buy one online. Oh , and btw Zelda isn't a rpg.
If you want a good RPG on the GameCube, look no further than Paper Mario.

Good Gamecube RPGs that haven't been mentioned: Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos, and Baten Kaitos Origins. BK has one of my favorite twists in a game ever; probably the only ones I didn't see coming from a mile away.

You're right about SMG. Plus its not too long to actually "beat" the game but after you do it will take a long time to get all the stars... so it would definitely be a good choice for the original poster of this thread.
I shake my head at the people who talk about RPGs but don't mention Fire Emblem.

The playthrough depends greatly how do you wanna play..
If you wanna view the scenery, it wil take a long time
If you are a gamer and not a casual player(nothing wrong about that), then i will suggest Metroid Prime 3 or resident evil 4 Wii edition or the Galaxy you mentioned before
As a recommendation for a game, buy Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Well, SMG is better than it, but FE:RD is a must buy for anyone who likes strategy. It's simply awesome. I have so far put 30 hours into one save file on easy, and only did 3/4 or 3/5 of the game, so 40 -50 hours on easy, and on my second I played on Normal difficulty, and I've used 25 hours and am only about halfway through! (I use my time though)
It's a very fun, and long, game. You might not want to buy it if you have an addictive personality, as it might make you forget to eat (this happened to me)
