Welcome back, AoA. I'm a newly registered member as of tonight but have been reading the forums ever since I discovered VGChartz shortly after I bought my PS3 back in January. It's a shame to hear you were wronged by your former place of business and had to rid of your systems. I'm glad you're back on track and hope you enjoy your new PS3 as much as I do. Here's hoping things keep on the up and well. PS: I absolutely love the artwork with the angels I see in your signature. I have no idea where it's from but I saved 2 of the pictures you've used for my own collection.

Just wait to buy the best of the best that the PS3 has to offer in 2008. And by only having a PS3 all great multi-plat games that you get will be PS3 games as well.

Seriously, get Uncharted but outside of that you shouldn't have to think about what games you will buy for the PS3. You will just end up buying the ones you need automatically.

Point is by years end, you will have at least 12 great games without ever having to make a hard decision about what games to buy.

I've got Folklore, Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction (MUST HAVE!), Burnout Paradise (whole lot of fun!), Motorstorm (fun game, hate the motorcycles though) and Hot Shots Golf. I had Uncharted and Oblivion but turned out not to be really my games and I had issues with the frame-rate in Uncharted. Probably one of the only ones, but saw it and hated it.

Personally I'm still waiting for those bunch of RPG games to arrive Eternal Sonata... where the hell are you?!

 You should switch to 720p, if your TV isn't capable of 1080p. 720p > 1080i.

Get connected and download Super Stardust HD, plays great and looks great in HD.

If you like racing games there are a few good ones, I play more DIRT than GT5p for example.

yeah Super Stardust HD =) AoA, I like how you buy a system that you think only has 3 good games. You might want to check metacritic or gamerankings and compare to the Wii. I assume you don't have a 360, so it's not like you can use that argument against the many great PS3 games. Good to know you started with CoD4, at least. If you hav GH3 for Wii, you should get Rock Band for PS3 because of the DLC. And now for a little rant: great, another thread where someone bought a system and wants recommendations for games. How do you post on a videogame forum and not the slightest idea what games are good for a system? Is it just an attention grabbing tactic? Seems like if you are going to invest that much money on a system that you'd at least know what games you want that are good. This isn't just AoA, it's a lot of people. I'm just curious why people do that.
