but there are rumors today again ,according to game informer May issue, that sony is working on "Waggle" which is different from wiimote in engineering:

idk i mean i wouldn't put it past them but i doubt it....idk about mircosoft tho they may go through with it.

Waggle would make it bomb, thats a horrible name.

Seems like a late april fools joke.  While I wouldn't be surprised at Sony cooking up a wiiremote for the PS2, the fact that the name is "waggle" seems highly unlikely.

people called the Wii a dumb name and look at names like Yahoo and Google, also strange names..

then this statement is interesting..

would it be for PS2 or PS3?cause ps2 should be around for another 2 years (how sony planned it)and "waggle"should keep it help it in that regards
