I don't think that would impossible even for first 7 months. Splatoon 2 couldn't sell much more because Switch shortages and limited instal base.

We will see how strong Pokemon will be on Switch, difrence now is that will be on home console and handheld in same time, It will definatly be very strong, but if will be stronger than Splatoon2 that a question. Difference is also that will probably not have Splatoon 3 on Switch so Splatoon 2 will sell whole life time of Switch, while will probably have at least two Pokemon games on Switch.

Well I don't think Splatoon 2 will ever do 10M+, I think 10M is it's cap, and even that is highly debatable. I was more so going off the idea that maybe .. idk ... a Pokemon remake sells poorly, or Pokemon's first Switch game "bombs"(not really).

regarding splatoon 3  : http://www.vgchartz.com/article/269881/splatoon-2-tops-2-million-units-sold-worldwide-at-retail/

Seems people disagree with you : D

I used to think that Splatoon 3 wouldn't be on Switch, I still kind of don't. But it's a little bit more debatable now, seems like with all their big new franchises Nintendo historically prefers to strike when the iron is hot.

We will, Pokemon and Splatoon2 offcourase will do/are doing great.

I dont think so, Splatoon is one game per generation, like Mario Kart and Smash Bros (espacily today with online play), maybe we will see Splatoon 3 on Switch but IMO chances are very low for that. I think we will se new MK on Switch beacuse MK8D is just Wii U port not new game. I also think we will see onother 3D Zelda and onother 3D Mario on Switch.
