i played some wii sports at some friends house some weeks ago.
for 15 min it was fun then it got very boring and i couldnt stop thinking i looked like a complete moron.

if the wii would have some killer games it would actually consider buying one but as i see it the only good games come from nintendo and are all similar to n64 and gc games with motion sensing and slightly improved graphics.

i don't have a wii cuz i don't play Mario and Zelda and Metroid and Smash Bros
i'll only buy it for Mario Kart this summer..

No, I like the Wii and play it every once in a while with my kid sister and my girlfriend. I do feel the games in general are far more geared towards kids. I bought the PS3 for its specs, quality and features knowing this would result into superior high def content, due to Blu-Ray movie playback and 1st party Playstation developers.

Traditionally I have been a PC gamer ever since Quake, but now consoles have become suitably powerful to rival the high res complex games on PCs (but without many of the hassles and issues) and I couldn't ignore the comfort of playing games and movies on the couch using a wireless controller on a big screen HDTV so effortlessly. For entertainment purposes my PC has now become as good as redundant.

i played alot of mario kart dd and ssb: m at my friends house.
if you have a gc what reason is there to buy a wii other than a gimmicky motion sensing control.
and can someone explain to me what is all new great gameplay and innovation everyone is talking about.
to me mario kart wii, ssb:b , MP 3 , TLOZ : TP, Mario G are all the same games we played on and gc and even the n64.
for some odd reason they got better overall reviews than their previous gc games tho.

I bought the Wii cause Nintendo has been my mine man. And 600 dollars for a system? WTF SONY? IT TOOK ME A YEAR TO GET 250! HOW LONG UNTILL I GOT 600? Who knows?

I dont plan to buy a Wii because IT IS kiddy and is seriously laking of mature games with epic story and epic gameplay.

That wasn't a factor. PS3 just fit with what I wanted more at the time. I'm getting a Wii in June in fact.
