Did you have any issue of Angry Birds Trilogy on the 3DS for 30?

Axis & Allies (unlike Monopoly) is still great game after 35+ years...problem is, even the shortest version (Axis & Allies 1941) can take forever (let alone combined A&A 1940 Europe and A&A 1940 Pacific)...I still play it sporadically, but it doesn't hit the table that often. As for skill, yeah it requires planning and situational awareness, but dice rolls can still make or ruin your day on occasion. |
Yea, I just played the original Axis and Allies which had the entire world as the map. I never had the chance to purchase the newer ones. Some are on sale right now on Amazon but I'd probably be more interested in the Anniversary Edition which I assume is the original which has the entire world map. Right now going for 75 new instead of 100.
They do take forever though and it is hard to find the people that have the dedication to go a couple hours over a few days (or longer). I usually screwed myself sometimes when about to obviously win and then giving friends free dice rolls which usually ended up eventually with heavy bombers (hard to fuck with 3 bombers with heavy bomber perk rolling 3 dice per bomber). So I'd consider it a win kind of but eventually giving them those super powers would end up biting me in the ass. Loved played different rules such as no more factories allowed to be purchased besides ones giving to you at start. Always had to keep the damn rule book nearby but eventually get most of the rules down. Just remember counting the way planes flew (1 for sea square then another 1 if attacking island, etc) flew on missions and making sure no one miscounted was always a fun chore.
