Great news for fans of 2005's Star Wars Battlefront II as GoG has been working with Disney to revive the multiplayer for both GoG and Steam.

The original mulrtiplayer ended back in 2014 when Gamespy was shut down, but since then people ended up using third party methods to continue playing with one another.

The patch is now live and all you have to do is launch your GoG or Steam version to recieve the update.

I for one plan on taking down a few clankers tongith

So far we've seen the return of Star Wars: Empire at War's multiplayer returning, as well as added mod support on Steam, now we have Battlefront 2's multiplayer returning as well.
