Forums - General - My Town just lost Kraft Hockeyville :(

Many people don't know about this thing, but every year, towns submit their names to become Kraft Hockeyville. The town that shows the most spirit gets to the top ten, votes decide the top 5, and another voting session decides the winner... My town came in third :(

The winning town gets $100 000for the stadium, a NHL game in their town, and a visit from Don Cherry... We still get $20 000, but we were really anticipating a win... I don't play hockey, but it's still disappointing... :(

Thought I'd let you guys know my towns chance at getting on the map were just abolished :( (Although we are actually on the map :) I just dread the thought of school tomorrow, people are gonna be real Bitchy...

yeah, whenever my town loses to your cross county rivals, the next day we are in a good mood (because it's over) but people say how much we suck and crap.

Yeah that was an odd insult, lol.

That sucks xbrawlx, but cheer up.......at least you guys got bronze. And 20K isn't anything to sneeze at. It may not be able to build a new stadium, but it can lead to much needed improvements - either in the arena, or just for buying new equipment.
