Forums - Gaming - Report: Volition lays off over 30 developers in the wake of Agents of Mayhem's poor sales

Aw man. That's lame. I really liked SR, SR2, and especially SR3, and got most ( or all? ) of it's DLC. I have the complete SR4, but have never played it. Kinda forgot about AOM. I  went to Metacritic, after coming into this thread to see what the "pros" have to say about it. So, off topic, look at this terrible ad in the middle of the user reviews, because the ( fifteen! ) other ads on the page weren't quite enough:

Because there will be no respite from the stress of daily life. Blatant scare tactic stomach cancer ads are part of the visit to check on reviews. Disgusting.

I'll look into AOM more closely when I get a chance.

Around the Network

I don't know what they were thinking switching from a good-selling strong single-player focused franchise to Agents of Mayhem. Especially after the disaster that was Microsoft's experiment with Fable Legends.

Lay offs are always a shame. I hope the studio isn't in danger and that it comes back with a better game in the futurre.
