I'm fine with anything. Just make it up, and then I guess everyone who wants to participate will, if they want to they can make any suggestions, and then you can tweak it, if it's needed.

We could do a bracket style pool, were each of us choose who we think will advance to the next round (we would start with the 2nd round). For every team we get right we would get a point and for every team wrong that would be minus 1 point. The Winner could get something (VG$?) and the loser would lose something. Just an idea.

Do the picks we make now last the rest of the playoffs, or do we pick again each round? Would it be like

a) My picks are teams 2 and 8 in the east, who will win in the second round, and team 2 will beat 6 and make it to the finals. In the west, teams 3 and 5 will win in the second round, and 5 will beat 3. In the finals team 5 will beat 2.

or
 
b) I pick teams 2 and 8 in the east, and teams 3 and 5 in the west to win in the second round. Then whoever does advance, we make our picks again .

Ha. You only come out of your holes when your team is looking to take the series. Not looking good for Montreal, but I was with them at the beginning and I will be with them at the end.

Ok so here are the rules:

1. We pick one team for every match up that should move on to the next round.
2. We choose the teams before every round.
3. We choose one team that we think will win the Stanley Cup.
4. We start counting the points for the 2nd round.

The 2nd round match ups are still indeterminable but we can use the first round as a practice:

My choices would be:

East:
- Boston vs Montreal = Montreal
- Philadelphia vs Washington = Philadelphia

West:
- Nashville vs Detroit = Detroit
- Calgary vs San Jose = Calgary
- Dallas vs Anaheim = Dallas

Stanley cup winner: Pittsburgh (This doesn't count as our real choices yet).

 No,  I've been with the Bruins since the start of the NHL season :P

 

The Bruins may get beaten badly final game, but I'm beginning to doubt it more and more after each game, especially after they won 5-1 one game.  I believe it was game 5.
