Forums - Gaming - Square Enix recommends an 800€ graphics card to run FF15 in 4K 30fps on PC

Wouldn't doubt it considering all the new graphics and etc

Gameworks may look pretty but it rekts gpus

Getting it to Ps4 Pro/X1X's level shouldn't require such strong hardware though. And of course, PC will support 60fps since thats a given...

We even saw a screenshot of the graphics settings as well, so it definitely supports 60fps, hopefully beyond as well for us high refresh users.

That's expensive! It's pretty cool that one lucky VGC member will be getting the exact same graphics card recommended for this in that love poem giveaway.

What's funny is, I have that same 1080ti model that Onionberry is giving away.

Do these people think I'm made of money? Jesus christ...

... there is a reason I'm a console peasant to this day. Now if you excuse me, I'll be off with my super-duper R7240 playing games on max settings from 10 years ago.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I doubt my PC could run 4K 30fps. The PS4 Pro runs it at 1800p I think so I hope the X can run it at native 4K.

It will be in 4K on One X. Native or not is another question. But if PS4 Pro runs this game at native 1800p then I think that it will be a safe bet that One X will run it at native 4K.

The PS4 Pro version runs at 1800c.  The Xbox One X version will probably run at 2160c.

Lucky guy. I've entertained the idea of jumping into the PC realm in the past, but I think that ship has sailed. I'm kinda lazy, and legit happy in Sonyland.

I don't see a mention of 30fps in your source? Regardless, this doesn't seem unreasonable to me. It's an improved version of an already technically impressive title, the specs needed to run it at 4k are obviously going to fairly high. FF14 (a much more technically reserved game on the GPU end) requires compromises at 4k even with 2x 980TIs. It's not a friendly resolution :p

They recently showed this off at 4k 60:

Also he chose the most expensive 1080ti. I nabbed my Aorus for £695 nearly a month ago.

Edit, it's still close to that price, but now £701: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/bd2rxr/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-11gb-aorus-xtreme-edition-11g-video-card-gv-n108taorus-x-11gd

I mean he's not that far off, £700 is about €760~ (and that's with the currently fairly week pound). But yeah, i'm not sure where he's getting this 30fps stuff. It mentions in the OT that it's "not even confirmed if the PC version supports 60fps", but i don't really think that needs confirming lol. The Pro version has already shown that nothing is tied to 30fps (what normally results in a hard lock on PC), so the chances of a lock on PC is minimal.

800€ should be nothing for them "PC Master Race" ya? :P

It's true 4k. With graphical effects that exceed what the consoles are pushing.

What did you expect? A free lunch or something?

The real interesting tidbit is how it's happy with Ivy Bridge 3770K from half a decade ago... And that is somehow comparable to the Ryzen 7 1700 on the AMD side. Haha

I mean official 60fps support out of the gate. I think its strange that they dont show 60fps in their trailer
