Forums - Gaming - Why hasn't a Switch port of Lego Dimensions been announced?

Seems an odd lag on their end to me.

The Wii U sales were on the lighter end, but it sold by VG numbers more than the XBox 1 version, and Lego Games are appearing on the System.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Because they are already porting a lot of Lego games to the Switch (City Undercover, Worlds, the Ninja one, the Marvel one...) and Dimensions is a very big game? Maybe they are just prioritizing them over Dimensions.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

Probably because they are not planning to launch new specific lines of Legos for that game and Dimensions did not sell as well as expected.

I think they've simply been backlogged bringing Lego City, Lego Worlds, Lego Ninjago Movie Video game and Lego Marvel 2 all in the same year.

Probably wanted to observe the penetration of Skylanders on the platform as well.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Maybe when they announce their third year line of LEGO figures. We're in the middle of the second year, and hype has died down. Maybe when hype is generated for the third year line of figures there will be some kind of announcement.

Maybe they're not releasing it for the Switch? Who knows.
