So we’d rather compromise on the visuals and keep that physics experience as accurate as possible

So that means PSVR version confirmed next to OR and Vive? Definite buy if so, definite no buy if not.

Highly unlikely. Even PS4Pro isn't powerful enough let alone the normal PS4 to allow that without Drivecluv VR like downgrades. That's the reason even 60fps GTS won't get full PSVR support.

pCARS developers have clearly stated they don't target 60 fps on consoles.

So we’d rather compromise on the visuals

It won't need to be downgraded as much as DriveClub and DriveClub VR works beautifully, entertained me for 50 hours or more. It is good enough. Downgrade that shit so I can race the way racing was meant to be played. Besides DC didn't have any significant pro enhancements (just reflections on the steering wheel, small stuff) GTS is PD, they are too proud to compromise on visuals. Stupid.

But true, the widly fluctuating framerate of project cars 1 on ps4 doesn't bode well for how competent they would be making a VR version.

Around the Network

Pardon my skepticism but these are the shills that spent years talking up the Wii U's "secret sauce" and raving about how underrated the system was only to cancel that version and insult the userbase. This sounds like the same old song and dance, using the XBX to garner hype and attention while hopefully avoiding being overshadowed by Forza and GT, just like with the Wii U. They won't cancel this version obviously, but everyone should take their word with a mountain of salt.
