Am I reading this right? If they're letting us mix Street Fighter 2 characters with Street Fighter 3 characters, they have my money. Balancing is gonna be a bitch, though.

I must admit I play many of these games emulated and love them. I also have a many original Street fighter games on various platforms. They've had enough of my money to play these games. If you fancy playing these games in great quality you can on android and windows tablets and many other devices but its most important the actual gamepad is fit for purpose and its on a setup with low input lag. Otherwise not only are you paying a lot of money for an old game but its just not the same game experience either.

Aww man. Already got that for PS2. No need to upgrade, then.

It looks pretty probable that they're going to release this collection given the sales of SF2. They just had to ripoff over 450,000 people in order to get to it. |
They didnt rip off anyone, no one forced anyone to buy that game
If you spent 40 dollars on a game that has been getting re released since 1991 and feel slighted, the only one to blame is yourself

I'm convinced at least $25 of that pricetag is for the motion control game.

It's up to other people to decide for themselves what they want to buy with their own money. You are right that whoever buys the game holds full responsibility for it. However.... that doesn't excuse a development company from getting lazy and shoving out a port that is most likely going to be irrelevant if this leaked collection ever comes to the Switch. It's insulting to Switch owners that USF2 costs 40 dollars when you can find copies of USF4 and SF5 for 15 and 20 dollars respectively. If releases like this keep getting support, Capcom will continue to grow lazy and provide further half assed efforts. I am happy that there are potentially 450,000 people who felt satisfied with their purchase, but as you said yourself... Street Fighter 2 has been getting revisions since 1991 and there is no excuse for such a common place game to be the same price as new 3ds games. Companies should not be encouraged to produce low quality releases as they will just start to get lazier and punish gamers for their laziness.

But you said it yourself. 450,000 people were okay with this port. No, lets not hope they feel satisMonfied, becasue that just tells Capcom its okay to do things like this, and with sales like that, they are not wrong. Money talks, period. Dont support expensive lazy ports like this becaue they WILL continue to make them. It's not a punishment if you have a choice to buy or not.
