Has anyone here actually tried PS Now? Is it really worth not having the actual console?

It would have to get many more games, and more recent ones. But if you have a great connection it's pretty good. Though if you're really into competitive twitch shooters or fighting games it's not for you.
Regardless the service is only going to get better and better with time.

EU master race! It's nice to see us prioritised for once. So what countries in the UK is this available in? |
It's available everywhere in the UK.
US, UK, Netherlands and Belgium are the only countries currently supported afaik. Weird they'd support Beligum before France or Germany.
I have tried PS Now in the past and it SUCKED!!! The quality of the stream is not on expected Netflix levels. The lag spikes makes it not enjoyable. Unless Sony fixes this, it will always be subpar and not worth it imo. I think streaming is kind of bad anyway for games unless they can fix it so that we won't see the constant dips and even drops in resolution.

It would be nice if you could download PSNOW PS4 games onto your PS4 to play natively, there's not really any reason to not make this an option.

I tried it once and it was pretty impressive. No issues and my Internet has been upgraded since. I'd still prefer to own a console but the service is very good.

Yeah...like how Xbox is doing with Game Pass. I actually have Game Pass and it's awesome. Very nicely priced and it's not streamed. As you said, it's natively on the system. I wish PlayStation would follow suit in that regard. They would be rolling in the dough with that service.

I mean they already have PS+ games that require an active subscription to play, so it should be pretty simple to do the exact same thing with PSNOW games.
On another note it seems PSNOW games can be played multiplayer without the need for a PS+ subscription as well.
"competitive online multiplayer (which btw comes at no extra cost with PS Now being powered by PS Plus). "
That's pretty neat that you don't need ps plus to play ps now games online.
In future Sony should allow you to download ps now games multiplayer portion so you don't have to stream while you play online. Would make the service pretty perfect.
