While Jim is late to the party when it coems to talk of Arkane's response to the lack of a PC demo, he still offers some points into why it isn't such a good idea (besides the Steam refund system not designed to be abused as a demo refund system).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
