Forums - Gaming - FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Benchmark Trailer

PS4 and PS4 Pro do not need to run a benchmark since the game is already optimize to play smoothly.

PS4 Pro has 2 modes:
One mode will retain the current resolution while increasing the frame rate. With this mode, you can expect a stable 60FPS even in scenes with many people.

The other mode retains the current existing frame rate but increases the resolution.

Downloading it, I'll be playing it on PS4 Pro if I ever get round to it, but I'll run benchmark on my PC anyway.

I expect I'll get "High Performance" maybe...

Surprisingly I got Extremely High. I'm a bit confused at the points system and the accompying description. It says if you get X score you should be able to run it at max etc. But the settings you run it at effect the score so it doesn't seem to make sense to me.

First ran it accidently on Laptop (high) at 720p and got around 12,000 score. Ran it at 1080p max and get 8,000.

If you got 12000 on 720p it means you can use higher resolution. Since you got 8000 on 1080p maybe you can use a higher resolution than 1080p.

I dunno, I don't agree with the benchmark then, it looked like it was dipping all the waydown to 30fps. xD

Need to preorder it on amazon.

Can't wait, it's really the best mmo for me since Ragnarok online.

Lol, 1.9 GB for just a test?, nah bro, my internet is not ready for wasting it that way XP
Itll be interesting finding my score, but meh, i know i run it easily. I have a gtx980 SLI and the CPU and RAM to go with it...

Oh I didn't consider that lol. I was wondering why people are getting higher scores than mine, but then I  noticed my fps didn't dip, while theirs was all over the place lol
