If this is some 3D game I'm going to go apeshit. Castlevania should NEVER leave the confines of 2D. This is a first day DS purchase if that's where it lands.

DS is the true winner of this gen 3rd party wise, I wouldn't doubt it if it got this too.

All we have is a name, well a name and a logo, from the US trademark database for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I doubt Konami registered this for laughs so this is probably the name for a new Castlevania game. Could this be the Castlevania game for the Nintendo DS Igarashi-san hinted at?

 

Just to throw this in for discussion “Ecclesia” is a Greek term for a gathering of citizens. Usually it’s linked to theology and now vampire hunters.

Another Castlevania for handhelds?

I would really like a new 2D Castlevania for home consoles,only the DS and PSP get Castlevania titles nowadays...damn it!!

 Just be patient.  For all we know, Iga could have had a new 3D Castlevania in development since 2005 or 2006.  You don't want to rush them
