Isn't Ellie supposed to be a lesbian?

Who would be the father of her baby?

Didn't they already confirm that the cover in Uncharted 4 was tied to the comics which follow a different story from the games ? I recall reading it soon after the release of Uncharted 4 ...

That was probably damage control in order to avoid spoiling the plot.

Yeah but, no . Damage controlling is made when you do something wrong and that picture was put in the game on purpose, I also recall there beeing a sign from the publisher of the comics in the corner... plus Ellie seems to still be quite young in the first trailer for The Last of Us part 2...

Damage control was a poor choice of words. They probably realized that the hint was too obvious.

I think she looked pretty young as well. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we are going to see Ellie pregnant in TLOU2.

"My co-writer scares me" gives it away. The Last of Us 2 will implement the pregnancy logic of Silent Hill 3.

They've never explicitly said she's a lesbian, we just know she at minimum likes woman. She might only like woman, but they've probably left it slightly open on the off chance they decide a male partner would be useful to the plot (e.g. If they did want her to have a baby, but didn't want to dig into the alternative ways of that being possible).

Neil begs to differ:

Q. Is Ellie gay?

Druckmann: “Now when I was writing it, I was writing it with the idea that Ellie is gay, and when the actresses were working they were definitely working with the idea that they’re both attracted to each other. That was the subtext and intention that they were playing with from the opening cinematic when they’re holding each other’s hands for too long, or when Riley bites her on the neck; there’s that chemistry there from the get go that was important for us so that we earned that moment when they kissed each other. So that it wasn’t just out of the blue but also wasn’t so overt that you’re like “Oh of course. Just get on with it.”

I don't understand how that contradicts what I said. Are Bi people back to being considered confused straight people again?
