We have zero evidence of a contract like that being in place. Ninty having Bayo 2 to tiself till the end of time sounds like the worst business deal of the century. To carry on with the franchise, but not allow other platforms to have 2, to not have a missing piece just comes off as illogical when you want to tap another user base. Also all we have to run on is that Ninty funded it and nothing more, no photo proof of a solid timeless binding contract for Bayo 2. |
its just a fairly common thing when you fund a game. Nintendo paid Platinum to make that particular game. it wasn't an 'exclusive' deal per say, the game wouldn't have been made if Nintendo didn't moneyhat it. They likely do own the title essentially, contractually.
if they didn't own it then there would have been word on it being a timed exclusive or exclusive for a certain period of time. There is 0% chance that Nintendo funded the game and then it just mysteriously stayed exclusive the last few years.
otherwise WHY would Nintendo fund it in the first place? if Bayonetta 2 wasn't controlled by Nintendo then we would have heard Platinum or Sega talking abuot its potential to end up on another platform at this point (which has never happened)
