Square Enix Is Reprinting NieR on the PS3 Due to Popular Demand

Replica-nt

NieR has always been a cult classic on the PlayStation 3, but the fairly recent release of NieR Automata has raised its profile significantly. And to acknowledge that, Square Enix is actually re-printing the original and selling it on its web store in Europe.

As of now, you'll need to join a waiting list, but the title will eventually set you back £24.99 on Sony's last-gen system, which is cheaper than copies are currently selling for on auction websites like eBay. There's no word on a North American reprint just yet, but we'd be surprised if it didn't happen.

SE is at it again.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Hopefully they'll do a NA version, as I don't have the game.

They should port it to pc/ps4

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

That's a nice move. I'm sure they'll make a remaster for the PS4 now, it would do well.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

They'd make more money if they just adapted it to work on PS4 and released it digitally.

Hmm, pie.

At least this is by popular demand rather than just being random.

Rather see a PS4/PC remaster tho.

Great news for ps3 players.

Hopefully they do a ps4 port in future.

That's pretty dope, would love to see a rerelease on PC or PS4 someday.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Hah, I was also looking at buying a copy aswell.
